Our triple strand necklaces use the textural depth that layering allows to create cascades of colour and shape. Whimsically named and sorted by principle colour, these necklaces vary by their sub-accents and unique combinations.
Triple strand necklaces vary in length from 16” to 24 “ and can be extended to allow for wearing over cowl necks or sweaters.
Green Goddess

The client for whom this triple necklace was custom-made responded upon first seeing it by writing the following: “This necklace is one composition in its entirety, but it has compositions all over, in little sections - works of art in themselves. One can pick individual pieces from the different parts and see how they speak to each other. Every bead is a discovery – and how they talk to each other. This is not a necklace; it’s a miracle - a work of art! “
This perhaps illustrates why my clients collect my “beaded artworks”.

Rhapsody in Blue

Striking a new path in musical literature, George Gershwin wrote Rhapsody in Blue in 1924 in an amazing three-week period! Strong, full of life and lyricism, Beadginnings’ Rhapsody in Blue pays homage to Gershwin’s genius.

Flattery

Contrary to the popular homily, this Flattery will get you everywhere. Fresh blooms of fuchsia, yellow and orange dance in tight harmony while shots of opposite colours complete the bouquet. Like opposites attract. This is the current iteration of one that appeared in Flare Magazine, July 2002.

Pearl Bailey

Pearl Bailey once said: “We look into mirrors but we only see the effects of our times on us -- not our effects on others.”

Goldberg Variations

Glenn Gould first recorded Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations in 1955 and taught “us a magnificent, magical work “ to quote from GLENN GOULD, A life and Variations by Otto Friedrich (1989). He came back to the recording studio in 1981 to give us yet another fabulous rendition. I keep coming back to my Goldberg Variations - to learn more. Which Goldberg do you prefer?

Ophelia

Adam Cohen’s hauntingly beautiful ballad so named (Is he really Lenny’s son? Yes, I’m being facetious) seems to reflect the gentle flowing elegance of this more subtle triple.
Flowing like the water over her face, the flow of beads in my Ophelia is lyrical, gentle and soft. This subtle quality calls to me in its quietude.

Scarlet O’Hara

Frankly, my dear, everyone will give a damn when you appear in your personal Scarlet O’Hara.
